What are Biostimulants in Agriculture?

The topic today is about biostimulants in agriculture and some people say that biostimulants are an old story but in the last 2 years or 5 years, they’re in the spot of any discussion in agriculture, in general. So I am going directly to the point and asking you what biostimulants are in agriculture? What is it all about?

I think biostimulants are an answer to the changing environment for all growers. We have very changing conditions in terms of weather conditions. We have a very changing political environment meaning fewer nutrients, and less crop protection, but on the other side consumers are asking us to produce more products, more sustainable and with improved quality and the usage of biostimulants is for me personally answer to those questions
