With approximately 16,000 hectares of production area, Turkey is ranked 6th globally and is among the top 5 countries with a production share of over 670,000 tons. The major production centers in Turkey include Mersin, Aydın, Antalya, Konya, and Bursa, with a total export of more than 50,000 tons of strawberries per year. Through cross-breeding and selecting the best varieties, Turkey is achieving higher yield and quality.
